MISSION

Its objectives are to prepare them to become future mothers, wives, and leaders of tomorrow by empowering them with hope and good moral values through the following:

II.        PROGRAMS:

1.       BISHOP LENA THOMAS CHILDREN’S HOME

·         This home is located in Robertsville, White Plains as a home to several children from Ages 5 to 15 years-old.

·         Program’s monthly budgetary allotment: $2010.00 USD.

2.       THE LIFE SKILLS AND TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

·         This program is geared toward training our girls in basic life skills such as baking, sewing, computer, and agriculture.

3.       THE AIOM HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM FOR ABUSED AND AT RISK WOMEN

·         This program identifies women between the ages of 18 to 30 years-old who dropped out of school due to socio-economic challenges and                 abusive relationships.

·         The program was started in 2010 and reinvigorated in 2017.

·         It has graduated 13 female students from college and life skills training.

·         Currently, the program has 4 college students, 3 elementary, 2 high school, and 1 home economic student.

·         Each has a monthly stipend of USD $40.00 for transportation a total of $400.00 USD/month.

·         Monthly budgetary allotment of 855.00 USD (sum of salaries expenses and yearly semester tuition).

4.       THE AIOM HOMELESS SHELTER

·         The program also leases a home in Paynesville, Liberia to accommodate homeless women free of charge in order to facilitate their education.

·         Annual Budgetary allotment for rent: $1200 USD (excluding feeding and miscellaneous support)

5.       THE AGAPE EARLY LEARNING ACADEMY

·         The academy focuses on educating the children between the ages of 5 to 15.

·         It has a fifteen-member staff consisting of teachers and administrators.

·         6 Full-time and 9 part-time (rotational)

·          Monthly budgetary allotment of $1,225.00 USD.

III.              PROJECT(S)

A.    ELEMENTARY SCHOOL’S CONSTRUCTION:

·         To accommodate program’s growth in enrollment, the program is currently constructing a school building that is about 50 percent completed.

·         Estimated budget of $ 5000.00 USD is needed to finish 4 bathrooms, plastering of classrooms, putting up the ceilings, doors, locks, paintings, installing water tower, and electricity for school.
